A decadent French feast for four people! Menu: Boeuf a la Bourguignonne (in the footsteps of Julia Child), a delicious rich beef stew braised in red wine, with bacon, onions and mushrooms. It is cooked for hours so that the meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth. This will be served with creamy sour cream mashed potatoes and a bottle of 2016 L'Orme de Rauzan Gassies Haut-Medoc, a blend of approximately 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet grown on the sandy gravel soils of the Medoc, just outside Margaux. This is a classic left bank Bordeaux, full-bodied with ripe cassis flavors, notes of violet, vanilla, and sandalwood, followed by a firm, dry yet elegant finish. For dessert, a rich dark chocolate tart with sea salt flakes served with crème fraiche. Dessert is paired with Buller Premium Fine Tokay Victoria, offering a range of delicious flavors - a whole dessert in a glass. Unctuously sweet, rich in texture and long, playing out its creme brulee, orange pe,el and evanescent remnants of cherry fruit as the wine coats the mouth luxuriantly. Will deliver anywhere within 30 minutes of Christiansburg. Outside of that, it will need to be picked up. Expires 11/1/2023. Must be 21 years or older to bid.
